NSF lists it at 8 gpm with hardness, barium and radium claims and as efficiency rated. The maker says it has a self-cleaning pre-filter and no filter changes. The manual covers city and well installs and lists a 0 ppm maximum for chlorine. A.O. Smith shows no price on its own site and sells it through Lowe's. Salt is not counted in the cost.
