Worth knowing

No certification found for any claim, including PFAS. Catalytic coconut carbon with KDF and a sediment pre-filter. The product page gives media life as 10 years or 1 million gallons, but the installation manual and the maker's carbon guarantee say 6 years or 1 million gallons; the 6-year figure is recorded. The manual says not to install it on well water without first talking to SpringWell. Price recorded is the $1,365 MSRP; SpringWell showed $1,160.25 on Oct. 4, 2026, and the media at $351.70 against a $379.84 MSRP. Sediment filters come in 2-packs at $45.57 and each lasts up to 6 months, so one pack is recorded as 12 months.
