What it costs over five years

Replaced on the maker’s interval, the schedule the fridge’s own filter light keeps, at list price. Every filter is counted: the one that came with the fridge is long gone. It is rated for 200 gallons, so a household drawing more than about 1.1 gallons a day through the fridge runs it out sooner.

Worth knowing

It is the only everydrop filter with a PFOA and PFOS claim. Whirlpool’s list is the refrigerators it sells today; older ones that take this filter aren’t on it, so check your fridge’s manual. Whirlpool’s store showed a sale price below list on Oct. 9, 2026; the list price is used here.
