Worth knowing

IAPMO lists four models, ATSH01 to ATSH04, all with the ATSH01-F filter, certified for 2,000 gallons at 1.55 gallons a minute. AquaTru gives no gallon rating and says a filter lasts about 90 days, so the 2,000 gallons IAPMO certifies are recorded with the 90 days; at a family’s showering, the gallons run out first. AquaTru says the filter also reduces chloramine; NSF/ANSI 177 has no chloramine claim, so that rests on AquaTru alone.
